Unknown thieves have stolen precious jewelery worth about two lakhs worn to Santoshi Maa from the temple of Maa Santoshi Mata, located in front of Shekhar Cinema of Nagar police station. On knowing about the incident, Shyam Nangalia, secretary of Santoshi Mata Mandir Committee, has filed a case against unknown thieves in the city police station.

Regarding the incident, Shyam Nangalia told that the work of renovation of the temple is going on. The dome of the temple has been broken for this purpose. Unidentified thieves stole a silver bracelet of the mother's hand, an umbrella made of about two kilograms of silver, gold rings, mang tika and mangalsutra from the top road at night. He said that the incident came to light in the morning when the temple workers arrived to clean the temple. The people of the temple committee gave this information to the city police station. Police reached the spot and took information about the case.
