Bihar: Bloody clash during idol immersion in Jehanabad, six injured, section 144 applied


Violent clashes between two sides continued late on Wednesday after the statue was damaged by stone pelting on the immersion procession. The miscreants along with the stones set fire to several places and vandalized and looted shops. During this time, several bikes parked on the road were set on fire. More than six people are injured in roadblocks.

After getting information about the tension after the disturbance, ADG Law and Order Amit Kumar and IG Parasnath Raff arrived with the jawans and heavy police force, and then the miscreants fled. Both officials gave necessary instructions to make the atmosphere normal.
